 Abroad

Its not unusual, when visiting any treatment facility anywhere, to see discarded pumps, blowers, controls or other equipment removed for servicing or replacement.  This particular treatment plant in  Montego Bay Jamaica had its own cannon laying besides the aeration tankage.

In a similar vein,  in  Florida effluent storage ponds we often find  snakes, alligators, etc.  At this treatment  plant in St. Maareten at the right, the plant has its own Iguana.   .

This treatment plant is the only one I have seen anywhere that had its own flag.  The owner was proud of his facility in Panama and rightly so.   The flag flies atop the housing over the flow equalization tank.
